1973 [FIN] [FRA]

Mytek the Mighty is a gigantic robot fighting against multiple evil opponents. It is created by Professor Arnold Boyce and gamekeeper Dick Mason, both as pilot of robot. Gorga is their dwarf enemy.
An African tribe called Akari is worshipping a clay statue of a giant ape "Mytek". Inspired by that, Professor designed the robot. [Article about Mytek | In French | In Spanish | Comic Vine]

"Mytek the Mighty" appeared for the first time in Valiant as an on-going story. The original story run in Valiant covers 609,5 pages all together (in two on-going parts). The first part is mainly 2,5 pages per issue (11 issues with only 2 pages), and the second part has got entirely 2 pages per issue.

All King Kong paperback stories are with rearranged frames. Vulcan reprinted Valiant stories starting from the beginning (in color). Vulcan is the most closest to the original but that magazine also made rearrangements. Prob. all stories by Bill Lacey were 2 1/2 pages long per issue, but some of halves were printed in Vulcan as full pages.
