Style: B&W with zipatons. Genre: SF. Time Span: Future. Nudity: Full frontal (men and women).
Keywords: High technology. No nature. Artifical reality.
Synopsis: A guy and a girl decide to spend free day in a nature. They relax totally and refuse brain pills. Hangover is not what they expect.
Comment: Corben's own story and B&W artwork are both brilliant. There is a lot pleasant nudity, specially on page four, where it touches with a warm relationship between guy and girl (frames without dialogue). One of my favourites!
Alternatives, [VERS.2]: 3 pgs! All pages in color (by a rough mask separation). Frames reordered to fit more per one page. Page 1: 11 frames (frame 5 missing, frames 6 & 7 in reversed order); page 2: 16 frames (frames 12, 23 & 28 missing, frame 24 after frame 27); page 3: 17 frames (frames 34, 38 & 45 missing). Many important frames cut narrower or just dropped off.
Alternatives, [VERS.3]: Censored in Spanish Comix Underground USA #2 (1974). Additional bra and panties, and sex scene on a bed redrawn (a boy behind, not on a girl).
Alternatives, [VERS.4]: In French Actuel [II] #10/11 (197?) shortened as 6 pages story (!), and printed in blue and white (instead of B&W).
Alternatives, : The German print in Horror Comics (2013) the entire book was printed in purple and white (!).
The original version from Slow Death.
Version 2: [London] Oz #35 (1971?).
