Synopsis: Madman Mr. Diment runs surreal scenes on psychology Nugent's family. He also fights all the time with Hugo, his hunchback servant.
Comment: Full of brilliant frames and surreal ideas, but story, by Doug Moench, goes a little bit too far and the ending clue is not so clear. Mr. Diement knocks interesting meta levels with frame borders.
Special: There is two full color frames from the story as a part of five frame collage on the front cover art in Creepy #54 (1973); three other frames are not by Corben. Used frames are: second wide frame from page four, "Omigod Noooooo." (man facing butterfly monsters) and first frame from page six, "Sqwunch" (train driving over man's head).
Corben: "The Slipped Mickey Click Flip" was a takeoff on all the old horror comics and their often-silly horror hosts. The story didn't make much sense in a normal, linear way; it was surreal because it kept jumping from the internal story to the external story of the insane host and his psychotic assistant.
