Heli doesn’t want to get old, and would rather be 39 than 40.

A sponsor in love with Sari appears in Alho. Dennis’ wife and her boyfriend Pena come to Alhontähti to spend a pre-Christmas party.

  • Armi can’t take it anymore: Alhontähti only generates bills. Ahti has got a motor for his wheelchair and is constantly on the move. Armi decides to sell Alhontähti. They have a graduation party, where Jone brings a karaoke machine. Ilpo hopes to get out of Alhontähti when the Helsinki University Central Hospital (HUCH) has an open position for an anesthesiologist. Heli decides to get pregnant. A message of sadness comes from the manor.

  • Lene’s funeral. Distant relatives arrive and take the inheritance. Kaarina gets nothing and has to move out of the manor. Sari sees her father’s ghost and turns to the priest.

  • Lene’s relatives auction off the manor’s movables. Jone rents the manor for himself, intending to set up a gym. Ilpo and A.-P. renovate their room into the Alhontähti storage room. The identity of Melena Tähtinen, the author of hospital novels, is revealed. Armi investigates Ahti’s accounting and finds a mysterious name: Rubert Rastas. Ahti learns to walk.

  • Alhontähti’s money is gone. Armi seeks custody of Ahti so that she can use Ahti’s bank account. Ilpo saves a strange girl from drowning on his fishing trip. Jone holds the opening of his weight room. Tomi suffers from creative block.

  • Armi has back problems. The fetus of her unborn twin sister, Irma-Helen, is found on her back. Ilpo is repairing his Triumph at Tomi’s garage. He has promised to take Armi for a ride. To celebrate, he has ordered a mail-order leather jacket. Tomi has calculated that the comet Hali-Cant will fall on Alho. Noora is angry with Ilpo because he has not told about his relationship with Armi.
• Mustan Kissan Kuja [FIN], Part 12: Tähdet kertovat [The stars tell]. Sunday, April 9, 2000 at 08:15 to 09:00 P.M. Nelonen.
  • A comet approaches Alho. Alhontähti is filled with space enthusiasts. The charming astronomer Marita Välke gets Ilpo’s attention. Ahti thinks he is Galileo Galilei. Tomi meets geologist Tauno Kuula, who turns out to be Heli’s ex-husband. Kaarina decides to go on a trip, and the fate of Sari’s father is revealed.
• Mustan Kissan Kuja [FIN], Part 13: Fetamorfooseja [Phetamorphoses]. Sunday, April 16, 2000 at 08:15 to 09:00 P.M. Nelonen.
  • Eeva is participating in the Miss Internet competition, but before that she has to lose weight to model size – in two days.

  • Tomi invents a perpetual motion machine. Ilpo’s son Iiro appears in Alhontähti. Sari has nightmares in the Hitchcock style. After Armi hires Heli as an accountant, a mysterious name appears again: Ruben Rastas.
• The End of the Season. It promises the series will continue on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2000.

Susi Rajalla [FIN] (Wolf on the Border) is based on the characters and events of the Mustan kissan kujan [FIN] series. Ilpo Karhu searches for himself and after decades comes back to his father to make peace. The time has come for Ilpo to reconcile his actions and evaluate his life choices. Initially, there will be three (Saturday, Sunday and Monday) review episodes. You can catch up on the latest events at 11:30 P.M. on Tuesday, which will be the series’ actual broadcast day.

Susi Rajalla [FIN] is based on the characters and events of the Mustan Kissan Kuja [FIN] series, which ran last winter and spring and was planned to have 50 episodes at the time. Slowing twists and turns have been removed from the original plot and the pace has been accelerated. On Saturday, Sunday and Monday, were recounted and after that the story continue with new sequels. Ilpo Karhu (Vesa-Matti Loiri) has therefore sought out his father Ahti (Aarre Karén) for the first time in twenty years. The latter once broke off relations with his son by marrying Ilpo’s girlfriend, Armi (Sari Havas).

After the break, we have a new series with a new name, Susi Rajalla [FIN] (Wolf on the Border). The series is based on the characters from Mustan Kissan Kuja [FIN].

Renny Harlin thirsts for more acting roles

Renny Harlin has made a new conquest. “The Hollywood Viking” will now be seen in front of the camera, as director-producer Markus Selin has hired his friend to guest star in the series Susi Rajalla [FIN].

– I didn’t need to convince Renny at all. He was immediately enthusiastic about my idea and answered straight away, “of course.” That man is hungry for more roles, laughs Markus Selin.

Renny will be seen before Christmas in the Susi Rajalla episodes “Negativity” and “You Only Die Twice”. Harlin plays Detective Multan, who is called to investigate the murder of Tomi Salo. Later, Pujo is shot and Heli and Armi are kidnapped.

— The intention was to make a parody of The X-Files and Bond films. A total of three episodes were made, Selin continues.

Harlin’s parts were shot in two last Christmas days. The man took his job seriously and learned his lines on the plane on the way to Finland.

– Renny was extremely nervous because this was his first acting performance, recalls Markus Seli.

Selin also adds that it was not intended to be kept secret, but no one thought to ask us.” CF

Renny Harlin was seen in the Susi Rajalla [FIN] series on Nelonen on 5 and 12, December. The series took a break on December 19, 2000 and return to its new program slot on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM starting January 17, 2001.
