Spani [SPA]: as “La ocurrencia” in Zona 84 #80.

Keywords: War Killer. Testing. Guinea Pigs. Damsel in Distress.
Synopsis: Scientists test war killer, who is wired to computer. He is supposed to save a girl from mutants. Suddenly he sees Guinea Pigs everywhere.
Comment: Corben moved his B&W artwork into computer (Son of Mutant World version) and got messy result – images have not enough resolution. He puts even story’s texts into tonal image file and made them messy too. In (Heavy Metal) color version art and texts are in separate files, which makes outlook clear; Beth Corben’s colors make artwork even more clear (she adds more details into it). They solve also resolution problem. In the end of color version, there is a ad of Corben Studios. Story by Richard Margopoulos is bellow average.
Technique: To add some tones and models he was using computer softwares Image Studio and Digital Darkroom [revieled in Horror in the Dark #1 (1991)].
